A 10-year-old boy told police that he knew his mom and her boyfriend were making methamphetamine at home because he had seen it in "a cop show." Who says television isn't educational?

Apparently, the pair was buying cold and flu medicine and using them as starter material for the methamphetamine.

For his part, the man got three and a half years in prison while the boy's mother received a four-month suspended jail term.
