Frustrated at the state legislators' failure to produce a budget for the fiscal year that started on June 1, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is threatening to reduce the salary of rank and file state employees to the federal minimum wage of $6.55/hr until one is worked out to make sure the state doesn't run out of money.

Obviously, the 200,000 plus people affected by this didn't like this proposed move one bit and they're making their grievances heard.

Besides, the governor is targeting the wrong people.
