John Woo To Direct Caliber ... Whenever

Caliber While it is no where close to the musical he wanted direct, "Caliber," based on the comic book of the same name, is on the list of movies John Woo will be directing, according to Variety.

"Caliber," created by Sam Sarkar and published by Radical Comics, is a retelling King Arthur and his Knights of the Round as gunslingers in the Wild Wild West. The title refers to a magical six-shooter given to Arthur by the Indians that shoots lightning (the comic's website says Thunder, but I'll assume lightning) and it never misses its mark.

No word on when the movie will go into production since Woo has other films lined up as well, such as "1949," a period film set during the Chinese Revolution, "The Sicilian Clan," a remake of a French crime drama, and a host of others, including "He-Man" and "Metroid."
