Not even rat meat is free from inflationary pressures on food prices.

With the cost of food rising everywhere, poor people in Cambodia and Vietnam are turning to less desirable meat sources like rats. But with increases in demand, prices inevitably goes up as well.

According to Reuters, prices of rat meat have quadrupled in Cambodia this year.
