Tom Cruise is said to be loosely attached to star in "Food Fight," a comedy where he plays snobby NY chef who, for reasons unknown at this time, is forced to make meals for grade schoolers.

Why is he more willing to take on the lighter side of showbiz? One word: parenthood.

I'm sure Cruise wants to take little Suri to one of daddy's movies without being exposed to anything he'll find objectionable. "Food Fight" seems to fit the bill nicely.
