Facebook Turns To Google For New COO

Kara Swisher broke the news this Tuesday morning that Sheryl Sandberg, Google's VP of Global Online Sales and Operations, has joined Facebook as their new COO, a position left vacant with the recent departure of Owen Van Natta. According to Swisher, Sandberg was responsible for online sales of Google's ad and publishing products.

If this move means anything, it confirms that Google is the undisputed leader in search. Even the internet darling of the moment, Facebook, turns to Google when they need to look for something or someone.
