A defense lawyer who also worked as a part-time judge in Italy often sent her twin sister in her place when there's a scheduling conflict between her two jobs so she wouldn't missed out on collecting her legal fees.

The problem? Her sister is not a lawyer.

The gig is now up and they've been found out. They are now charged with fraud and being sued by (former) clients for damages.

Ed McMahon Raps In Forthcoming Online Video

Ed McMahon raps Former "Star Search" host Ed McMahon will go gansta in a rap video for FreeCreditReport.com.

In the video, coming to an online video outlet near you in October, McMahon will rap about his credit problems and his recent brush with foreclosure on his mansion.

Here's a sample of the lyrics,

"When I retired, I was famous/I had money and glory/I bought a house for 6 mill/I thought nothing could touch me/Until my credit went south, and debt started to crunch me/Next thing I know, instead of playing gin rummy, I was scrambling just to make ends meet/It wasn't funny."

Of course, what is a rap video without scantily clad women. Well, it has those too.

Airbag for people Wish you can have wearable airbags like those in cars to break falls? Now you can.

The Japanese company Prop has developed an airbag system for the elderly to protect themselves from serious injury due to a fall.

The device, which wraps around the body and has a airbag behind the head and one around the hips, can sense when the wearer is falling and will inflate the airbags within 0.1 seconds.

The only problem? Like adult diapers, the elderly probably wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing one, if they have a choice.

 

Giant Pig Held Woman Hostage

Bruce pig A pig the size of a pony held Caroline Hayes, 63, of Australia hostage in her own home for 10 days.

The 176 pound pig, named Bruce, apparently was let loose by one of the neighbors and somehow entered Hayes' farm, demanding that he be fed. When no food was forthcoming, he got aggressive.

The pig was finally removed by rangers and put on stud duties.

Mom Buys Son Guns And Bomb Making Material; Pleads Guilty

Michele Cossey Michele Cossey pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child after being arrested for buying her 14-year-old son guns and bomb-making material.

Police found three guns and a couple of home-made bombs in the boy's bedroom after being tipped off by the parents of one of his friends. That friend claimed her son tried to recruit him to carry out a "Columbine-style" attack on his school to get revenge on the people who bullied him over his weight.

Her son, Dillon Cossey, is sentenced to stay at a juvenile treatment facility until his 21st birthday.

As for Michele, she won't be sentenced until after a psychiatric evaluation.
